Here is another wonderful example of German archtop craftsmanship. A 1950s Voss. Solid thick carved spruce top and carved maple back. Excellent condition, sound and playability. 17" beauty. Voss was not a maker, but distributed guitars. This is a Hoyer made instrument. Made by Rudolf Hoyer. Very unusual headstock. I replaced the original bridge with a fine fitted one. Orginal bridge is available. Wonderful tone and sustain. A beauty with some slight blemishes in surface and binding.
